We transformed an outdated London bathroom into a modern, bespoke space tailored to our client’s vision. From rerouting challenging plumbing systems to installing a luxurious freestanding bath and stylish fixtures, every detail was crafted with precision. This full-scale renovation not only improved the room’s functionality but also delivered a sleek, minimalist aesthetic.

Challenges

The project aimed to enhance the existing bathroom layout while addressing key plumbing challenges. We successfully rerouted the hot water pipe beneath the bathtub to improve pressure and relocated taps for the new freestanding bath. After careful planning and execution, redundant pipework was removed, setting the stage for a stunning transformation.

Removal and Disposal: Dismantled and disposed of the old bathroom suite, tiles, and fittings.

Preparation: Prepared walls and floor for new installation, making necessary repairs after removals.

Plumbing: Rerouted and installed new pipework, including the bath, basin, toilet, and fixtures.

Electrical Work: Rerouted and installed new electrical lines for lighting and shaver sockets, including ‘over mirror’ wall lights.

Finishing: Painted and decorated as needed; sealed and grouted surfaces.

Installation: Installed the toilet, vanity unit, freestanding bath, towel rails, and accessories; created a lowered ceiling for GU10 LED spots.

Carpentry: Modified and installed new door frames, doors, skirting, and boxing for pipework; custom cabinetry or shelving as needed.

Flooring: Laid a new floor finish wood-effect vinyl on a plywood base and floating engineered oak.

Final Touches: Sealed, caulked, and polished for a watertight finish.
