FAQ
Our installers are fully trained to treat your home with the utmost respect and care. We are BiKBBi (British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation) registered, and in most cases, an installation manager will visit to monitor progress. Your project manager will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
The average amount of time needed to finish a full bathroom suite, which includes plastering, tiling, electrical works, and product installation, is approximately 10 days. The duration for this project, however, varies depending on the size of the room.
Our installers will arrive at or around 8:30am (the exact time will depend on the distance from their location) and continue working until that day’s tasks are completed. Of course, timescales can differ; they can’t start grouting until the tile adhesive is dry or begin painting until the plastering is done. In these cases, our installers will use their time away from the worksite to restock supplies.
Your toilet will be disconnected but will be reconnected by the end of the work day so you can still use it. However, you will not have full bathroom facilities until the work is completed, plus an additional 24 hours to allow the materials to dry.
We will have to come to an agreement about this as it is important to us that we maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
Although, you have the option to supply your own tiles (we would need to be informed if they are ceramic or porcelain and what layout you want).
We can also reinstall existing products you would like to keep, like a radiator or heated towel rail.
We work with multiple partner showrooms from our location as well as surrounding areas.
There may be times when unscheduled work is necessary for things that were not apparent before installation began (for example, damaged floorboards or a previous leak that has caused damage). If this happens, we will discuss it with you as soon as it is identified, so that we can proceed according to your wishes.
If rubbish collection is booked, we will arrange for a skip. On completion of the project, the skip will be collected, and the rubbish disposed of accordingly.
If rubbish collection isn’t booked, you will provide us with a location within the property to temporarily store it before disposal.
